The over educated leadership (we dont need)

"I have a rule now, that if you haven't lived/worked in a village or set up some small enterprise in a city you cannot understand 95% of India .
Most home based industries like pappad , slum based industries are urban , even export tailoring . That is how 95% of India is self employed .
If you have a urban Govt or Corporate job or have only worked in an University you have no idea of the lived experience of majority of India "- SN

Prakash Thangavel All our technocrats rooting for cashless economy, GM crops, economic reforms have worked in US, hold a degree from US, UK or at bare minimum IAS. Urjit Patel -- London school of economics, Aravind Subramaniam -- IIM, Oxford, aravind panagariya -- Princeton, shaktikanta das -- Stephens, IAS. Deepak Pental -- Phd, Rutgers. And they are all about building a new India by killing old India first. Sad...
Aparna Krishnan Kick them all back to the lands of their degrees. The people if this land need to take charge of this country and its policies.
Rahul Banerjee they are all gung ho about making india more of a vassal of america than it already is instead of building a new india!!
Aparna Krishnan This is their 'New India' ! An India redeemed from its 'backward' past of cash, and village economies, and self sustainance into the new virtual plastic world. Boot them all out, and their foreign degrees, and their neon dreams
Mark Johnston There is possibly little harm in someone not having had the good fortune to have had the experiences that would help them to understand 95% of India as long as they don't pretend to understand it and as long as they take active steps to avoid making and influencing decisions supposedly on behalf of the 95%.
Aparna Krishnan exactly. we will confer the status of a minority on them and allow them their reserves/campuses. But they insist on being part of our national planning processes !!
