The most precious gift. Ever.
When Anita and others who can never get such a saree for themselves, pool money to get one as a gift. "Madam, we collected 1000/- as we had no idea what a saree ad what you wear would cost. But we got a simple one as what you wear for 500/-. You like it ?"
Words failed me. What would be the value of 500/- to people asset less, and living on daily wage.
I accepted the gift given with bangles and kumkum turmeric, humbly.
They are all wearing handloom sarees a customer sent them as gifts. In this group photo we took, taking a break from work at dusk.
