The Sewing Machine

Their greatness lies in them, far more than in their stitching. Immaculate as it is.
I was telling them that we would get one industrial grade machine on Monday. We would try to get friends to give us machines for all nine, but we will have to see.
This first machine, whose home should we place it in ?
Anita, "Laksmikantha. She has developed knee pains in both legs. Her motor burnt out, and she's been pedalling last few months."
All the others agreed.
It was not sure to them if the others would all get machines, but what mattered to them was the need of the last person.
A village works this way.

Happiness comes in many disguises. Sometimes as an industrial sewing machine.
The first of the machines reached the village.
Lakshmikantha put turmeric and kumkum on the machine, and learnt the use.
"For four months I have been pedalling, and both knees have been paining so much." She said with happiness.
