Rajesh connected with me on FB. We have never met. But he has been a co traveller in many ways. Like
many dear friends here.
One Woman's Day he sent me a message. That he would need to do something more substantial and ongoing than just some random posts. He said he would work with the village women in their efforts. For livelihoods. Survival.
He would regularly buy cloth bags. And sell it to a small shop at a discount. Bearing the loss. Saying it was his contribution. To the effort.
He would buy Roopas pickles each time she made a lot. 20 Kg. And sell to his friends and colleagues.
Then he taught himself Telugu. Over Google. And Roopa and he set up a WhatsApp group. Along with me in case translation was needed. It never was.
This is how business has to go on. With a sense of camaraderie. With commitment on both sides. With genuineness and goodwill.
And the Roopa s can hold their own.
