The poor, and the glittering shops


Never forget.

This old man. In a shabby dhoti. Seeking some money to buy food.

He stood for 10 minutes watching the glitzy clothes in the glass walled showrooms.

Blankly.

And I stood watching him.

Also blankly. And then gave him some money for food, which he took with a blank look.

...

Poverty is a vast crime.

But when riches mocks down at poverty. By its glitter.

It a cosmic crime.

That only the cosmic rules of Karma can answer ...

We will all answer ...
