No English transliteration I saw was able to come near the poetry and power of the very simple Sanskrit verse.
The soul is always lost in translation.
So our ayurvedic doctor also demands that her students first learn sanskrit, so that they can access the verses of Charaka and Shushruta and Vagbhata.

The best thing about my ayurvedic doctor.

Despite being the best in rigourous learning and experianced practice, she has designed the entire structure in a way that the cliente has not become elite. It could have easily slipped into that.

The housemaid, the carpenter, the IT professional, the allopathic doctor, the men and women from my village, all come with the same comfort, and avail of the same best care.

Every activity needs to be based on the essential social concern and perspective in this land.
