Saravana Perumal Balakrishnan Dear madam every month I have been buying bags online and distributing it to nearby houses and asking them not to use carry bags. My monthly budget is 2000 rupees. I don't know how many bags I will get for that amount. The bags should be bio degradable and reusable.
He has put the women on their feet, through his tireless orders for cloth bags sourced from his circle. But for his faith in them, in those initial days when they were trying and learning, the bags process would have have had the initial steam to reach where they are today. When he came to meet them with gifts of sarees, when they came to Chennai to learn screen printing, the women already knew him as a friend, co traveller.
