In the morning I remember the essence of the atman shining within my heart,
Which is sacchidananda (existence-consciousness-bliss), which supreme hamsa takes the mind to the state of Turiya (the fourth state, superconsciousness),
Which knows the three states of Dream, Waking and Deep Sleep, always,
That Brahman undivided am I; and not this body a collection of Pancha Bhuta

In the morning I worship that, which is beyond the Mind and the Speech,
By Whose Grace all Speech shine,
Who is expressed in the scriptures by statement "Neti Neti", since He cannot be adequately expressed by Words,
Who is called the God of the Gods, Unborn, Infallible and Foremost .

In morning I worship that darkness which is of the nature of Supreme Illumination,
Which is purna (Full), which is the primal place, which is called Purushottama
In whom this endless World is settled endlessly
and appears like a snake over the rope (of the primal essence).

These three shlokas are holy and the ornaments of the Three Worlds,
He who recites in the morning, goes to the supreme place.

You are merciful and I am destitute; You grant wishes and I am the seeker. I am a well-known fallen one and You absolve away the heap of sins. You protect the orphans, and there is no orphan like me [hence, protect me]. There is no pain-absolver like You and I am in immense pain [hence, absolve my pain].||1-2||
You are the Brahman and I am a [destitute] living-being; You are the Preceptor and I am a disciple. You are for my benefit in each way — as father, mother, preceptor, or friend. My relations with You are infinite [since You are present in everything], so assume the one You like. At least, this way, Tulsi will get refuge in Your dual-feet.||3-4||

The ornament (quality) of wealth is good people.
The quality of bravery is control of mind.
The quality of knowledge is tranquility of mind.
The quality of the eminent race is humility.
The quality of wealth is appropriate spending.
The quality of penance is being free from anger.
The quality of the strong is forgiving.
The quality of Dharma is honesty.
For everyone and for every reason, character should be the ultimate quality.

Nobler and righteous people do not expect love and affection in return for their benevolent deeds, nor do they discriminate between the recipients of their benevolence, and changing times, because they are deeply involved in actions beneficial to the mankind and brighten the society like a lamp of jewels

Wise people should spend wealth and even life for the sake of others. Wealth and life are sure to be lost by their very nature. Therefore sacrificing these for a good cause is better than losing them without benefit to anyone.

Without putting into practice scholarship becomes poison; with indigestion food becomes poison; for the poor meaningless social gatherings are poison; water drunk immediately after a meal is poison.

That is action, which does not create attachment; That is knowledge which liberates.
All other action is mere effort; all other knowledge is merely another skill.

"द्यूतं छलयतामस्मि तेजस्तेजस्विनामहम् ।
जयोऽस्मि व्यवसायोऽस्मि सत्त्वं सत्त्ववतामहम्"
I am gambling of the cheats; splendor of the splendid; victory of the victorious; resolution of the resolute; and goodness of the good. (10.36)

Bhagavad Geetha reduces Godhood to its essential principle of 'that which is'....  "What is God ?" was answered by "What is, is God" by the Swamiji.

Ahimsa is the highest virtue, Ahimsa is the highest self-control;
Ahimsa is the greatest gift, Ahimsa is the best suffering;
Ahimsa is the highest sacrifice, Ahimsa is the finest strength;
Ahimsa is the greatest friend, Ahimsa is the greatest happiness;
Ahimsa is the highest truth, Ahimsa is the greatest teaching.
Bhishma Pitamaha Anushaashana parva Mahabharatam.

In spite of the fact that the Mahabharata war happened because of facts that everyone is aware of, yet Bhishma Pitaamaha's advice to all was that Ahimsa is the greatest of virtues that everyone needs to follow. Lord Krishna tried to avert this war but Kauravas were adamant.

(Panchatantra)

If following the righteous path of the noble is difficult and seems impossible, in spite, if one follows - even a little bit, he does not perish.

Telling the truth is recommended, but more than that, tell those things, which can be of benefit to everyone. What is beneficial to a larger community, is the real truth.

The snake and the wicked person are both dangerous. More dangerous is a wicked person. The poison of a snake can be neutralized by mantra or medicine but what about the poison of a wicked person?

Not every mountain has gems in it, and not every elephant is adorned with pearls. Not every forest is blessed with sandal wood trees, and good people are not to be found everywhere.

Mere reading of the four Vedas and scriptures repeatedly does not give the real knowledge of the Ultimate Reality. Just as a spoon in a vessel which is used for serving, does not get the taste of the food served from that vessel.

The ornament (quality) of wealth is good people.
The quality of bravery is control of mind.
The quality of knowledge is tranquility of mind.
The quality of the eminent race is humility.
The quality of wealth is appropriate spending.

Oh Lord, while meditating I have attributed forms to the formless Thee.
Oh teacher, I have as it were described Thee, the indescribable, in my hymns,
I have assumed you, the omnipresent, as if confined only to holy places that I have visited.
Oh Lord forgive these three acts of audacity of mine.
