One of the five village temples in this 3 street village ! Our turn to offer worship at the Yerpachchamma temple and this Vinayaka temple. Vinay, the pujari, does the pooja before rushing to his school 4km away.
He gets up early and has a cold water bath because he feels this pujari status demands that austerity. He wipes and lights the lamps. breaks the coconut, offers aarti, distributes the prasad, and takes double share claiming an extra for his pujari status. He also leaves some prased for the mouse idol before the Vinayaka idol.
