Siva drives the auto. Rides with him are always pleasent. We chat as he drives.
He is from a famly of potters. He and his brother have not learnt the skill from his parents as they were 'schooled'. As we were chatting he said that with gas having made an entry into many homes, the demand for cooking pots has fallen drastically. Nagesh asked him if making flower pots for urban narkets was an ption. He said thats also mostly cement pots.
So Siva and other children get schooled into an unemployable future. There are many many knots to identify and untie today.
