Village Vignettes - My Village Banker

Varalu called up from the village general store in Kommireddigaripalle 4km away. She goes there every fortnight to collect the milk money to pay Munneshwari from whom she buys milk for the village children.
The shopkeeper Shekar Anna is my banker. I leave money with him, and if I'm not there on milk payment day, she goes there and collects the sum and gets it entered in her book. Shekhar Anna is happy as he has money for rotation. Varalu is happy as the money is timely. I'm the happiest as its smooth procedure for me.
