I was told that my posts
try to induce guilt to make people respond.
1. It is not my burden to make people respond to the Eashwarammas of the world. I only share stories.
2. Regarding guilt - yes, we are guilty. So long as there are children who are undernourished. 'There is enough for everyone's need, but not enough for anyone's greed.' And each of our indulgences, when there is also hunger elsewhere, comes in the realm of greed. I share the sense of guilt with my community - the privileged community. Also because Chinapaapakka and Eashwaramma can find it in themselves to give to each mendicant who comes asking 'Bhavati Bhiksham Dehi', even when there is almost no rice at home.
