Village vignettes - My banker

  My banker.

This is Shekar Anna's shop - otherwise called Uppu vaalu angadi (Salt seller's shop).

I leave some thousands with him. If I am not there on the 1st or 15th when the milk bought for the village children has to be paid for. Varalu collects the sum from here, and pays it to them.
She also collects her small salary.

Shekar Anna is happy as it gives him some cash for 'rotation'. Varalu is happy as the money is available on the due date.
